Updated 2010 F1 Sporting Regulations – Replacement drivers allowed to test
FIA has published the updated 2010 sporting regulations (the changes are highlighted in the attached file). Besides the rule changes reflecting the new points system, the increased number of team (changes to Q1 and Q2) or the refueling ban there are some other interesting paragraphs.
2010 F1 Calendar – Canada returns, Silverstone stays, Korea to debut
World Motor Sport Council confirmed the 2010 calendar. The season will kick off in Bahrain in the middle of the March and end eight months later in Abu Dhabi. The new calendar features 19 races. Renault fined but will race in Valencia
FIA Court of Appeal overturned Renault’s one-race suspension today. Instead the team was fined $50,000. This means that Fernando Alonso will be able to race in front of Spanish fans this weekend in Valencia.
