Edoardo Mortara - Friday in Macau
Edoardo Mortara and Valtteri Bottas emerged as early favourites after Thursday action in Macau. Following almost identical times in first free practice the gap between them remained very close also in the first F3 qualifying session. This time the positions were reversed, Mortara edged Bottas by 0.113 and claimed provisional pole position.

Sebastian Vettel will start the title deciding race from the pole position after qualifying 3 hundreds ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Fernando Alonso secured P3 ahead of Button and more importantly ahead of Webber in P5.

2010 Brazilian GP Qualifying - Hulk on pole
Nico Hulkenberg managed the best the switch from intermediates to slicks in Q3 and claimed the pole position, a second ahead of Sebastian Vettel. Mark Webber qualified on P3, ahead of Hamilton, Alonso and Barrichello. Kubica, Schumacher and Petrov complete the top 10.

Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber locked the all Red Bull front row for the afternoon race in Suzuka. Lewis Hamilton finished 3rd but will be relegated 5 places following his penalty for gearbox change. Kubica finished 4th and will line up on row 2 with Alonso. Jenson Button will start from P5 but he will have the advantage of longer stint after qualifying on hard tyres.

Another pole for Vettel
Sebastian Vettel scored yet another pole position while Red Bull simply trashed the opposition today. Second row is all Ferrari – Fernando Alonso on P3 and Felipe Massa on P4. Lewis Hamilton (P5) and Nico Rosberg (P6) share the third row. Vitaly Petrov (P7) meanwhile outqualified Robert Kubica (P8) for the first time. Final two places in top 5 belong to de la Rosa and Hulkenberg.

Sebastian Vettel squeezed ahead of Fernando Alonso and claimed yet another pole position for Red Bull. Only 0.002s separated top two drivers. Felipe Massa qualified 3rd ahead of Red Bull of Mark Webber.

Q3: Sebastian Vettel will start the 2010 European GP from the pole, Mark Webber will line up next him on all Red Bull front row. Lewis Hamilton on pole for the first time in 2010
Lewis Hamilton will start the Canadian GP from the pole position – first time this year the pole does not belong to Red Bull. Webber who again outqualified his team mate will line up next to him on the front row. Impressive job from Vitantonio Liuzzi – P6 for Force India. Hamilton’s fastest time came on soft tyres while Webber posted his on hard ones … The race strategies will be interesting tomorrow …
