2010 Monaco GP Qualifying - Webber, Kubica, Vettel
Mark Webber took the pole position in Monaco ahead of Robert Kubica and Sebastian Vettel. Mark Webber was the only driver in 1:13s. This is the 6th pole position in as many races this season.

Felipe Massa - The second fastest driver in Saturday practice
Robert Kubica was the fastest driver in the final practice session for 2010 Monaco GP ahead of Massa, Webber and Hamilton. Four different cars among top four. We had a glimpse of what the qualifying may be like with traffic affecting the lap times quite a lot in the closing stages of the session.
Fernando Alonso, the fastest driver on Thursday, faces race against time to get his car ready for the race after hitting the wall early on during the practice causing heavy damage to his car. UPDATE – Fernando Alonso will not take part in the qualifying after damaging the chassis in the FP3 accident. He will use new chassis in the race and therefore will have to start from the pitlane.
Robert Kubica Monaco Practice
It is Monaco time and that means that Friday comes a day early – the Monaco weekend begins today with first two free practice sessions. (Why ? Because Monaco is special, Friday is time for rest and PR and so on …)
Fernando Alonso was the fastest driver in the morning session, the only driver in 1:15s few hundreds ahead of Sebastian Vettel who managed 1:16s sharp. Robert Kubica finished the session in third place. The difference between the fastest Alonso and slowest Chandhok was almost 6 secs per lap.
Not much time to relax – the Monaco GP weekend will kick off today (Thursday) with first two practice sessions (Friday practice happens on Thursday in Monaco). It is time to make predictions for the Monaco GP round of our prediction game.

Here are the results of round 5 of our prediction game. Congratulations to vroom for impressive 22 points ! There were quite a lot correct predictions for fastest lap (Hamilton) but not too many correct ones for race winner and pole setter (Webber).
2010 Spanish GP
Mark Webber won the 2010 Spanish GP ahead of Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton crashed out from 2nd position with two laps to go after puncturing his front tyre. Michael Schumacher resisted the pressure from Jenson Button and finished 4th ahead of Button and Felipe Massa. The final points scoring positions went to Sutil, Kubica, Barrichello and Alguersuari.

Front row for Red Bull
Mark Webber won the qualifying battle of Red Bulls and claimed the pole position 1 tenth ahead of Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton took P3 further 7 tenths back. P4 belongs to Fernando Alonso, P5 to Jenson Button. Michael Schumacher outqualified Nico Rosberg for the first time and will start from P6.

Sebastian Vettel - Red Bull - 2010 Spanish GP practice
Sebastian Vettel dominated in the final practice for the 2010 Spanish GP finishing the session 7 tenths ahead of Mark Webber. McLaren drivers Hamilton and Button finished third and fourth just ahead of Michael Schumacher. Earlier in the session Petrov and Kobayashi crashed out after loosing grip on wet kerbs causing red flag. At the back of the field Lotus seems to have pulled away from Virgin by about one second judging from the practice times. During the practice it was announced that both Virgin drivers will get 5 place grid penalties after their team failed to notify the FIA about its intended gear ratios.
Updated and upgraded Lotus during practice for 2010 Spanish GP
The Spanish GP weekend begins today in Barcelona with two practice sessions. Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver in the morning practice, just over a half a second ahead of Jenson Button and Michael Schumacher.
Heikki Kovalainen was fastest of the new teams drivers in the upgraded Lotus, about a second ahead of his team mate Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock in Virgin Racing car.
Red Bull drivers were fastest in the second practice session. Sebastian Vettel became the first and so far the only driver to get to 1:19s with 1:19.965, two tenths ahead of Mark Webber. Michael Schumacher ended in 3rd place, about half a second faster than Nico Rosberg (P7). This was probably the best day in the office for Schumacher so far this season.
Earlier in the session Nico Hulkenberg crashed into the tyre barriers, damaging his car and causing the only red flag of the day.
The three weeks break is over 2010 Formula One season continues this weekend in Barcelona. It is time to make predictions for the Spanish GP round of our prediction game.
Here are the results of round 4 of our prediction game. There were several correct predictions for both fastest lap (Hamilton) and pole position (Vettel) but nobody predicted the win for Jenson Button. Still there were some impressive scores – The highest score of this round – 22 points – belongs to ncng. Fantoci scored 21, Enigma, DaniGo, Pgirish13 and james 20. Congratulations ! There were few predictions that arrived too late, after the qualifying session – sorry, could not count them …
Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton celebrate on Shanghai podium
Jenson Button won the rain affected 2010 Chinese Grand ahead of his McLaren team mate Lewis Hamilton. Button’s second win of the season means that the defending champion takes over the championship lead. Nico Rosberg finished third, ahead of Fernando Alonso, Robert Kubica, Sebastian Vettel, Vitaly Petrov, Mark Webber, Felipe Massa and Michael Schumacher.
