Not bad for a number two driver

Mark Webber won the interesting British GP ahead of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Jenson Button. Rubens Barrichello (P5) and Kamui Kobayashi (P6) had another great race and finished just ahead of Sebastian Vettel who dropped to last place on lap 1. The rest of the points went to Sutil, Schumacher and Hulkenberg.

    “Yeah, not bad for the 2nd driver?” This was going to be my only comment, as Alonso I decided to switch off the radio and not run the stewards down as I use to do, these race was another example of what isn’t needed in F1 for having overtaking, expectation and excitement. The FIA has a lot of work to do… still…

    Well I have to say Webber did drive an excellent race!  I think it was the perfect way to say to the team that he really is as good a driver as Vettel – at least.  I think it’s going to be a pretty close run thing for the championship this year.  But this could be Webber’s best chance to win it all.
