The British GP weekend started with Friday practice. Sebastian Vettel was the fastest drivers in the morning session followed by Hamilton, Kubica, Webber and Sutil. Sakon Yamamoto (who replaced Bruno Senna for the whole weekend) was the slowest, around a second behind his team mate Karun Chandhok. Fairuz Fauzy and Paul di Resta replaced Vitantonio Liuzzi and Jarno Trulli for the FP1.
