It was not to be for Felipe Massa
The Hockenheim race stewards clearly did not like what happened on lap 49 of 2010 German GP … Ferrari were found guilty of breaching Article 39.1 of the Sporting Regulation which bans the team orders in Formula One. They were also found guilty of bringing the sport into disrepute. The result of the race stays at the moment but Ferrari were fined $100,000. The case was also referred to the World Motor Sport Council for further consideration.
So, it looks like Ferrari blokes are the only ones convinced by the Ferrari story …

Fernando Alonso - Fastest on Friday afternoon
The German GP weekend started this morning with the spin fest on very wet Hockenheim track. Many drivers went off at some point of the FP1, the only one causing serious damage to his car was Lewis Hamilton who smashed the car into to tyre barriers.
The FP1 times may be deceiving as some drivers risked switching from wets to slicks in the closing stages of the session.

After one year break Formula One returns to Hockenheim – it is time for round 11 of our prediction game. This should be interesting weekend. There is talk about possible cool and wet weather during the weekend. Bridgestone is bringing in the supersoft and hard tyres – first time there is such a big gap between two tyre compounds. This may result in interesting qualifying and race strategies perhaps similar to what could see in Canada few races earlier.
