
Sebastian Vettel back on pole
Q3: Sebastian Vettel will start the 2010 European GP from the pole, Mark Webber will line up next him on all Red Bull front row. Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso took P3 and P4 ahead of Massa, Kubica, Button, Hulkenberg, Barrichello and Petrov. The Williams drivers Hulkenberg and Barrichello posted identical times.

Q1: Robert Kubica was fastest in the first part of qualifying (1:38.132), 2 tenths ahead of Vettel and Button. Kobayashi, Trulli, Kovalainen, di Grassi, Glock, Chandhok and Senna were eliminated. Michael Schumacher only climbed out of the bottom 7 on his last lap … Lotus seems to be in class of their own at the moment – still clearly behind Sauber and Toro Rosso but well ahead of Virgin and HRT.
