F1 is back in Montreal. The 2010 Canadian GP started with Friday practice session for 2010 Canadian GP. Mercedes powered cars occupied the top 4 places in FP1. Fastest time went to Jenson Button ahead of Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Sebastian Vettel finished the session in 5th place ahead of Robert Kubica and Fernando Alonso.

Sebastian Vettel was fastest in the afternoon session just ahead of Fernando Alonso. Nico Rosberg ended up third. Perhaps more interesting than the times were the tyres. All the drivers complained about severe graining. Once the tyres were done the lap times were 5-6 seconds slower… Finally a track where the tyres may not last …
