Lewis Hamilton won his first race of 2010 season ahead of his team mate Jenson Button. Mark Webber finished 3rd after he dropped from the lead following the crash with Sebastian Vettel. (At least this time Webber finished the race, unlike the Fuji race few years back). Mercedes drivers Schumacher and Rosbrg took P4 and P5, Kubica P6, Alonso and Massa P 7 and P8 for Ferrari. Adrian Sutil scored yet more points for Force India while Kamui Kobayashi collected the maiden point for Sauber this year. Fastest lap went to Vitaly Petrov.

OK, I’ll be the first! –

Webber is still a hard man and Vettel is still a hothead! Standby for more fireworks at RBR as they compare the size of their gonads (or d….s?) for the rest of 2010!
Could be some good racing coming up. But remember guys – Christian H will be severely annoyed if you end up gifting the Championship(s) to McL (or any other team)…..

Oh and what were Hamilton and Webber discussing at the press conference…?

Blue42 – i reckon Hamilton had seen footage and was agreeing with Webber that it was all Vettel’s fault. RBR seem to favour Vettel – how many hugs did he get on pit wall? Looking forward to the increased competition from Maccas and the inevitable in-fighting. F1 is is fantastic this season.

Button nearly did the same thing to Hamilton as well. It was good racing that ended badly. I personally like the inner team competition.

I do hope that Webber/Vettel and Hamilton/Button do keep racing as team-mates, because its the only way we will see any racing at the front. Mercedes and Ferrari just don’t seem to have the pace to keep up with RedBull or McLaren.
