  1. I wonder why they don’t put both pilots from each team to train…

There is a limit to laps allowed during the testing period. The teams probably feel they are more effective in developing the car running one at a time.

Anybody notice the exhaust pipes on the Mercedes? Anyone see what is wrong with those? Pretty sure Ferrari did the same thing last year and had to change it to be smooth with the body chassis before the first race in Melbourne….
Renault still looks bulky like last year, see how it goes and the nose on that Sauber is long, hangs out quite far, even further than the Toyota nose did last year!
Also McLaren seem to be running a few different configurations for their side pods, extra inlets/outlets on each side when Hamilton ran (Paffet ran one side the previous day) and Hamilton is also running an open inlet on the top of the nose which you wonder what for (sponsor stickers even blend appropriately).
All fun so far, good to see them back on a track even if it is just testing, looking forward to the new season, counting down the days!

the teams are only allowed to test with one car. that is why for example Mercedes GP drivers shared the car on Monday – Rosberg in the morning, Schumacher in the afternoon
