The Renault F1 team took the wraps off its 2010 car in Valencia today. The R30 sports great black and yellow livery – a return to colour scheme Renault used in late seventies. There does not seem to be too much sponsor presence on the car other than Total and TW Steel.

The teams also confirmed last year’s GP2 runner up Vitaly Petrov as its second driver – the first Russian driver to race in Formula One. Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov form all new line up for Renault. The only two 2010 F1 vacancies left now are at USF1 and Campos Meta.

    wow. that looks awesome!
    best livery so far.
i was just having a conversation with a mate the other day that the liveries today have become stale bland and boring. and this definitely attempts to change that. i really like it. i miss the old days of the yellow jordan, the green jag, the orange arrows. great to see more colour in the grid this year.
