Adrian Sutil in action in last day of pre-season testing
Today is the last day of official 2010 pre-season testing, the next time we will see the cars and drivers on track will be the Friday practice for Bahrain GP. The drivers expected to be in action on day 4 in Barcelona are:

There are first few 2010 F1 cars from Minichamps available for pre-order. Among the cars announced are McLarens of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, Timo Glock’s Virgin VR-01, Trulli’s Lotus, Michael Schumacher’s Mercedes and Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel. There is no exact date of release mentioned yet other than it will be year 2010 …

Lotus Debut for Jarno Trulli
Today is the last test session in Jerez this winter. There will be three drivers changes – Nico Rosberg takes over from Michael Schumacher, Vitantonio Liuzzi from Adrian Sutil and Jarno Trulli will make his Lotus debut. Here is the Saturday line up:

Colin Kolles in his Force India days
It looks like the end of the F1 dream for Adrian Campos, at least for now. Jose Ramon Carabante (previously a shareholder in Campos Meta team) has taken full control of the team. Colin Kolles (Jordan, Midland, Spyker, Force India) has replaced Adrian Campos as a team prinicipal. Chavski is back… The other people on Kolles’ team are Mike Krack (ex-BMW) and Geoff Willis (Honda, Red Bull).

Lotus T127 in action in Jerez
The voting in the poll for The Best 2010 F1 Livery has ended. From the beginning it turned into the battle of two new teams. Lotus and Virgin together received almost half of all the votes. It was a tie for quite a while but at the end it was the Lotus T127 with most votes next to its name. BMW Sauber ended up as the least popular livery on the grid. Here is the result of the poll:

Blue skies over Jerez on Friday
The second Jerez test continues with the third day. Except Lotus (Heikki Kovalainen) all the teams will use different drivers than yesterday. The early day reports suggest that today may finally be a dry day. Lotus missed big part of yesterday session after Kovalainen hit the tyre barrier and lost the front wing (photos here). The team has managed to bring a spare one this morning and they should be out and running.

Sebastian Vettel; Sebastien Buemi
The second Jerez test continues with the day 2. Eleven teams will be action today. The talk of the day yesterday was the test debut of Lotus. Today Heikki Kovalainen takes over from Fairuz Fauzy. His car will be fitted with power steering and some front wing aero updates. It will be interesting to see how they compare with Virgin Racing. Virgin team spent most of the day one identifying the cause of hydraulic problems.
