All I can say is that he better come back, or we would be missing one of the best showman on the track…

I would think that an injury like that will keep him out of a seat for quite a while. I would not be surprised if his season is over. Hopefully he can fully recover and be ready for next year.

Ferrari is in a tough postion. With three new teams coming on board (meaning six more drivers), the competition to sign the best will be raised to another level. Coming into Hungary, rumors were spreading that Kimi was at risk of loosing his seat if he did not improve his finishes. Now they have one driver underperforming and one with injuries that may leave unable to return.

You can start the Alonzo rumors now.

Latest word says Massa is awake can see out of his left eye so no injuries there and that he has friends visiting which means he is well past the critical stage.

On top of which Domenicali come out and said he may be allowed home in a week or at most ten days so all good signs for Massa to be back on his feet in no time.

Though i’m sure he will sit out the next race, the August break couldn’t have come at a better time and he will probably be back sooner than we all think! Depending on details of exactly what they have done with his head i can’t see any reason why can’t return by the last couple of race at the least.
