2009 Prediction Game Round 9 Results

Posted on July 14, 2009 by F1Wolf

The results of round 9 of our prediction game are here. The best score went to Wil (20 points) and thanks to outscoring everybody around him Wil also took the provisional lead. We had few predictions for Webber’s pole position and win but nobody guessed the fastest lap for Fernando Alonso. Also nobody had Heikki Kovalainen among top 8.

There is now three way tie at the top of the provisional standings.

now I can’t recall where I read about the diffuser, but the press release from Toro Rosso after German GP says this:

Franz Tost: “Once again, well done to Red Bull Racing for a fantastic performance. As for our race, we unfortunately suffered a hydraulic failure on Bourdais’ car. With Buemi, after a good start where he moved up four places, he complained of lacking grip and he kept locking the rears. Now, we must hope that with the new aerodynamic package we will have in Hungary, we can begin to close the gap and move up the order.”

The only way for Weber or Vettel to catch Button is to put some cars between them, much like yesterday. It only helps their chances to make STR more competitive so they can race Braun, but not beat RB. Thats a might fine line.
