Let’s make it more ridiculous. Are there again some rumors of Spanish investors? A year before I believed thanks to the Spanish and French press that Super Aguri would receive Spanish backing… And now what? It is possible that they get a place, while there are free places. But very implausible that they reach a candidature when already failed once in the F1, they’re the team which less repercussion would have, they even have the facilities, neither for build-up a car with customer pieces from here and there and standardized engine or build something by their own, and well… They would be the team which less implausible would have probably, but yes, they have their own fans and they push hard, if they have already not forgotten the F1 team or switched to another one :P

I don’t see much future to these rumors, even the words are not clear if there is a wish to enter, while the candidatures are open, we can expect anything but not the improbable return of the Japanese boys. If there are committed to join the championship and are doing all possible to reach the budget, then I’ll wish them much ‘aguri’ (that’s an Italian expression to wish good luck).

With three spaces open for teams, and one already taken by the USGP team, i can’t really see Aguri being one of the teams to enter next year.

Probably more likely to be Richards team in whatever guise that is and the 13th slot won’t get filled for another year.

FIA blew it the last time by having a “tender” for the last place but didn’t bother (as usual) to make rules clear for what you can and can’t do. Hopefully this time, the rules are little more simple to follow so that a team can make it on to the gird next year. (I doubt it will be simple though as with this “two-tier” system and such no one entering will find this easy!)
