Ten to tackle – Weekly F1 Quizz Number 10

It is time for another mini F1 quiz. As there is no F1 race this week there is no special GP theme of the quiz this time. All the questions however have something to do with how the 2009 F1 championship has started or with the wet or seriously wet races of the past:

All the answers will be revealed after you complete all 10 questions. As usual please no googling for answers :-) . And do not forget to share your result in comments ! If you missed the past quizzes you can try them too – click here.

During the rainsoaked and title deciding 1976 Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji several drivers withdrew due to dangerous track conditions. How many ?

When was the last time Ferrari scored zero points in opening two races of the season ?

Timo Glock finished 3rd in the wet 2009 Malaysian GP. What was his result the last time around when F1 raced in rain ?

When was the last time the same driver won first 2 races of the season ?

Jenson Button is getting used to winning races now, but how many races did it take him to win his first F1 race ?

1989, Australian GP, final race of the season, torrential rain. One driver decided to withdraw after first lap refusing to drive in such conditions. Who was that ?

Nick Heidfeld and Timo Glock found out on their way to the podium in Sepang that they will switch the places on the podium (Heidfeld promoted to 2nd, Glock dropped to 3rd). Few years back (in 2003) the same red flag rule resulted in change of the race winner, unfortunately for the eventual race winner only some time after the podium ceremony. Who was he ?

Another rainy race, 1998 Belgian Grand Prix and one of the worst ever F1 race starts. Thirteen out of 24 cars were involved in first corner incident. Several of them could not take part in the race when it was restarted almost an hour later due to damage and lack of spare cars. How many ?

Jordan F1 team scored 4 race wins during its existence. When did they win for the first time ?

A qualifying session for Japanese Grand Prix had to be abandoned and moved to Sunday morning thanks to a typhoon. When did that happen ?
