Lewis Hamilton thought about quiting McLaren and F1 ?

Lewis Hamilton misled by his team ?

Lewis Hamilton misled by his team ?

The Times Online brought a story out today suggesting that Lewis Hamiton (and his father) got so angry following the events in Australia that Hamilton contacted the FIA president Max Mosley, expressed his frustration over what has happened that he was considering leaving the team and the sport. Mosley apparently advised the driver not to do this.

Here is the link to the article:

Lewis Hamilton wanted to quit over Melbourne lies

My question is, was this a genuine expression of frustration over what his team got him into, or an exercise to limit the possible further sanctions to himself by blaming all on the team in the same way the team put all the blame on Dave Ryan ?

Here is what Martin Whitmarsh had to say this morning on the above topic:

“I have read some stories this morning, but I have obviously spoken to Lewis on quite a few occasions and Anthony, We are here trying to do a job and go racing and this has been quite a distracting influence, but in all of those conversations from Anthony and Lewis the commitment to this team has not altered.

It’s been extreme and there has been no hint of what has been reported this morning, so at the moment I don’t believe what has been reported.”

He may have better information than The Sunday Times, but this Martin Whitmarsh also is the same person who only on Thursday still insisted that McLaren did not lie to stewards …

Probably a combination of both. Nobody likes Hamilton Except his father. The bigger question regards F1’s (Mosely’s) response. Remind me again. Is Mosely the one that was caught getting whipped in a sex dungeon?

Hamilton is a piece of ____. There are cool guys in F1. Their names are Massa, Raikkonen, Alonso, etc.

Did you see what Webber did during red-flag? That is a man. Hamilton should have been doing that. He’s an idiot who only looks out for himself.

Senna was a champion for the drivers before he died.

Hamilton is the Brittany Spears of F1. Or the Obama (I’ll try not to push it too far).

Get real. He drives fast. But he can’t deal.

The McClarens suck so far. So do the Ferraris. Just race by the rules and shut up.

    Massa and Kimi are cool.

The best thing Louis could do is get rid of his father. He’s young, but so was Schumacher at one point.

    Eat a fricking ice cream.

Webber gave a lesson of profesionalism to everyone

Webber impressed a lot of people today. He was the first to get out of his car and go talk to people. We don’t know what he said. But the act was huge.

  8. [...] is also their star driver who few months back was happy to spend his whole career with McLaren and who may not be that sure about that anymore [...]
