Commentary by Sebastian Vettel. And of course there are some sneak previews of 2009 Red Bull car designed by Adrian Newey.

Toro Rosso took their time but at the end they made the decision that many would consider being the right one. They chose Sebastien Bourdais over Takuma Sato for 2009 season. This decision also ends speculations about Jenson Button or Rubens Barrichello possibly joining the Faenza team following collapse of Honda F1 project. This is what Le Seb had to say:

We were supposed to see 12 teams on the grid in 2008. But Prodrive never made it (because of the customer car rules), Super Aguri dropped out after only four races and barely a month after 2008 season ended Honda bowed out. F1 is facing 9 teams grid in 2009, Toro Rosso is for sale and there are doubts about long term commitment of some of the remaining manufacturers. Max Mosley however believes we will see the grid increased in 2010:

Another USF1 Team Project ?

If we are to believe what Motorsport Total presents as their exclusive story we may see from 2010 season brand new USF1 team on Formula 1 grid. The team even has a website USF1.com although the only thing on that website is the logo.

The original article reports that the people behind the USF1 team idea are Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor.

Formula 1 – 1995 Liveries

After few weeks break here is another part of the F1 Liveries History post. This time year 1995 when 13 teams entered (although Simtek did not last for too long) and 37 different drivers started races. Forti was the new team on the grid, Jordan was yet to get the Benson&Hedges on board, and there was also MTV car :-) .

Fans can bid for VIP F1 passes for several European GPs

F1 fans have a rare chance to bid for Formula One paddock passes with team hospitality for two at each of the nine European Grands Prix.

For nine weeks from 9 February 2009 the Tom Pryce Memorial Trust will be auctioning one pair of passes for a Grand Prix each week, with all the money raised contributing towards a memorial to Tom Pryce in his home town of Ruthin, North Wales.
