Ahh, that takes me back. 1994 was a memorable year, for all the wrong reasons, but it’s also interesting to see the different nose configurations of the cars.

The Ferrari is a very pointy and stubby car. IIRC, it was a V12 in 1994, and had a fantastic roar.

  2. Great stuff as ever. Benetton also had Bitburger on their sidepods for the final race, as they did throughout 1995.

yes, tere was Bittburger too, but unfortunatelly getting nice side views of these cars gets more and more difficult the further to the history I go :-)

Woah! Massive grid! The Sauber that season was among my favourites :) Williams was a clear candidate, but his best driver was killed, however… I was little, but I remember that day a lot. But I never liked that low nosecones with the wing flap through it, also I find horrible the solution addopted for Aida by several teams with a rear wing with double flap.

Man, goes to show how far we’ve progressed, technologically. The cars look like boxes! I like the way they look though. Simple and pretty.

well, when in 2006 Super Aguri entered F1 with those updated 2002 Arrows chassis they looked like box too. Things change :-)

but I must say that some of these cars (like Williams for example) looked very neat in 1994.

1994 was the first year i ever went to a GP, was in adelaide and i was…10! lol.
Such a great weekend it was to be at the track and seeing these cars, i been to so many GP’s since and have loved the sport all the mroe since my first ever trip in 1994!
Great stuff these old liveries, amazing how easily we forget how some of these cars looked and how many more teams we had back then!

The Rothmans Williams livery is a timeless classic! Unlike the Sauber Polka dot Tissot scheme is completely forgettable.

Play count the sponsor on the Jordan…. must be in the twenties!

i think, the liveries of the early 90′s are far more better looking on the cars, then now, i dont know why they dont put designs , mostly, the mclaren marlboro livery is a classic, i wish they get it back, this red and white livery, i like the colors of the bennetton ford
