2009 F1 car in action
Seven teams have already revealed their 2009 F1 cars (although Williams still only in the interim livery). And as we will not see any more launches for about a month perhaps it is good time to have a little poll on beauty of these seven cars.
So vote for the 2009 F1 car you like the best so far and feel free to say whom you voted for and why in the comments. Photos of all the cars are inside this post, links to more images are on the left side bar in the 2009 Car Launches section:

What is the best looking 2009 F1 car ?

Any of them looks good ?

For me it comes down to 2. I really like the look of the McLaren with the Red Bull coming in a close 2nd.

Hands down, McLaren. And I’m no fan of the team, but they’ve penned a much better looking car than the rest.
I think that voting on the best looking design it would come down to Williams and Red Bull as my favourites. While if you were to vote on best paint design, the McLaren and Red Bull are by far the best looking on the grid.
You could call Renault “innovative” but thats another way of saying its butt ugly, lol.
well, for me its McLaren. good looking one.better than rest of others

I can see from the poll results that even Toyota finally got a vote !
Well, the thing goes on beauty: P Then I will chose Williams, Toyota and RedBull. How will this be translated in performance??? Only in Australia we will know if they’re good candidates
However, the Williams still didn’t stop on track, their reliability until today from the FW31 has been majestic
Hopefully that doesn’t happen during the season!

I’m kinda surprised the Renault is getting more votes than the Toyota as although it is the same old paint design they have always had (really does need an update). It does look a whole lot better than the colour scheme on the Renault.
Renault probably wins on a design base as it is more “innovative” and well…the Toyota does look quite plain, though i think that has a lot to do with the White as the main colour, kinda like the BMW. Just doesn’t have lines and edges that stand out in that colour, making it look very dull and boring really
Williams hands down.
The Mclaren has the BEST looking front end. The covered exausts actually look nice. Then there is the engine cover detail. The thing is a best. I am not too sure I like the cut rear wing though.
i see that renault still have a little shark fin thing goin on…. wonder how long before others follow again?? And what are those square panels on the Toyota air intake?!?!!?
RB5 doesn’t look to be fit… Or it’s an extreme caution to bring it home and analyze the trouble or the car stops working every time it’s on track. It seems that Newey did a good looking work, but iwill it be finally a good job?

All i can say is that i hope that whether it is fast or close to being fast is that they have the reliability that they had last year because every year before that has been terrible for them!
We can only hope…..
Car has speed, pretty good performance with Webber for example. But wether conditions were different than previous days
For now, I value the performance of Vettel on the car during wet weather a lot
By now, every run made by the RB5 had some troubles… But the same is aplied to McLaren’s MP4/24, rear wing seams to be wrong, as they’re testing with 2008 configuration with Lewis and 2009 with Heikki, they accepted that have a problem with it, but also meant to have the solution for the next month tests in Jerez…
RB5 will get fixed these issues for sure, weakness was also a thing to worry last year, but they seamed to have solved it in a couple of races and their RB4 version mounting a Ferrari engine even won a race!!!
At this stage it’s quite normal having addatpation problems or some technical failures, this is the moment for them to appear with the big millage and several setup testing. But it’s very unusual that Williams is performing that well for example, I won’t be lifting my hands as sign of victory until the car and the drivers has achieved something, but it seems to go well for them
Only hope this goes like that during the season.

I’d have to go with the Ferrari, but the Red Bull isn’t too bad either.
