Where did F1Wolf readers come from in 2008 ?
Posted on January 04, 2009 by F1Wolf
The 2008 year is now over and so I looked back at the visitor statistics here at F1Wolf.com. I was most interested in knowing where the visitors came from.
I am not surprised to see the biggest number of visitors coming from United Kingdom. What I am surprised is to see visitors from the United States to be very close in 2nd place, followed by readers from Canada, countries that Formula 1 decided to leave behind … Singapore, Australia, Spain, Poland, India, Hong Kong and Brazil make up the top 10 (see the chart below). In total readers from 188 countries landed at this site in 2008. As this is Asian based blog I am very happy to see very nice number of visitors from this part of the world !

The biggest source of traffic were the search engines lead by Google, followed by referring sites and direct traffic. The F1 blogs that sent the most traffic my way last year were F1Fanatic, Vee8, F1Bloggen and Sidepodcast – thank you guys !

The best day F1Wolf had this year was November 2 when the visitors numbers went through the roof following the 2008 season grand finale in Brazil. The worst day was December 20 when my previous webhost shut me down killing all the traffic for few days …

You are not ! Mexico was ranked number 28 on the list, with most visits coming from Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. And Mexican visitors spent on average more time than anybody else on the site on each visit

I am also from Mexico!! It is great to see that we weren’t that bad in the chart. At least we were the ones who spent the most time in the site!

What I’m impressed is that the Chinese nation doesn’t show much interest towards F1, even with such enormous population rates! A little percent of their people already means millions of supporters, so what for Bernie needs to move F1 to orient if there nobody shows interest there??? Anyway, Singapore, India and Hong Kong’s independent province show that there’s a turn in that graphics
They are even over Germany, the country where F1 means something else!

well, to get serious number of Mainland Chinese to read any site would require to write in Chinese. That is something am not ready or able to do

Think about the benefits HEHE Anyway, I thought a singular percent of them already knew foreign languages.
