But in UK the governemnt refused to support Formula 1 financially, that was one of the reasons Silverstone ended up the way it ended up. Donington Park is a private project and most of the investors will look for returns on their money, creating new jobs and stimulating economy will not be their primary concern. And the money from private investors are hard to get these days ... But I do have a respect for the drive, confidence and belief this guy Simon Gillet has.
