F1Wolf Club - The F1Wolf Community
There are many ways these days for readers to socialize together. Not all of them work for everybody. I set up a Facebook Group but I do not find it too useful. One of the reasons is I still have not figured out what to do with it. I tried the Entrecard here, but dropped it after while from this site.Twitter has been much better. It drives some traffic to this site and also helps me to keep up to date with what other F1 bloggers are up to. One thing I did like however was The Bikers Place community created by Shaun. I borrowed the idea and created The F1Wolf Community - F1Wolf Club. I did not do much promotion yet. I needed some time to figure out the benefits for me and for the members. So what I think are the benefits ?
If you run a racing site or blog yourself you can use the F1Wolf Club to:
- shamelessly promote your sites
- have your latest posts featured on the main page
If you do not run any site yourself you can use the F1Wolf Club to:
- write what you want on your own page
And everybody can start a dicussion in the forum, set up a group, upload pictures, embed videos and probably much more that I haven’t figured out yet.
After first five days since the clumsy start the F1Wolf Club has already 15 members, few hundred photos, 2 groups and several videos. I expected that by this time I will still be only talking to myself so the start was not too bad
.
To join, visit the F1Wolf Club. And do not forget to invite others !

I’ve never used Twitter, i’ll have to give it a look.
I’ve found my community site to be very beneficial to my main site (get lots of referral traffic between the two) and it seems to be growing quite well, have 110 members now i think.
Takes a bit of time to get things going at the beginning though!

Like everything time is the determining factor. It’s early days.
And truth be told you gave me the idea and am in the very early days setting the same system up for my NASCAR blog to spin a community off it.

Well, as for me it’s really useful! I’m a kind of person which didn’t decide yet to build my own blog, it takes a lot of efforts and time, and when already exist so many good sources it looks to me like a cul-de-sac. Second reason could be maybe that I would be more interested in a Spanish language blog, but the Spanish fanatics doesn’t shine by their F1 knowledge almost… I would say 5 of 10 spectators have they thoughts really clear about F1 and have much expirience to understand what is all about.
So F1 Wolf Club allow me to begin a parnership with main site and launch my Williams Fan Sector corner. I can build contenents by myself and fill in the empty space from the Community HEHE It’s important to share some knowledge and get new opinions, news and views from any member. I’m hoping to bring some fresh stuff, take a bigger part of Williams fans to F1Wolf and rise friendship with some of the members and readers.
I think the creation of the F1Wolf club is a success and soon will grow. From the beginning it is going fine
