Monaco GP has some history of special helmets and liveries. Here is recap of four special helmets I noticed this year – the diamond helmets of McLaren drivers, Monaco flag and track map helmet of Nelson Piquet and 200 race anniversary helmet of Giancarlo Fisichella.

Have I missed any ?
Here is one helmet I missed and Googled up after reading Keith’s comment – Kimi Raikkonen and his Monaco style lid:

Raikkonen had a revised helmet design as well with some different graphics on the top. You can just about see it on the picture of him in this article if you zoom in (click on the thumbnail, then click on the subsequent image):

That helmet of Kimi’s is pure bling – even more so than the diamante ones from McLaren!
We just thought it was a good thing that the jewellers got their diamonds back – unlike the one in Christian Klien’s nose-cone, which is presumably at the bottom of the harbour as we speak…

bottom of the harbour or deep in the pocket of lucky Monaco street cleaner
Piquet had the monaco track on his helmet to remind himself of the layout incase he got lost
Perhaps Piquet Jr’s misadventure on Sunday would remind him that he would be better advised to put his circuit reminders where he can see them (as opposed to the top of his head).
like on the screen in front of himself ?
