Formula 1 – Speed Out Vettel In


As expected, Scott Speed’s career in Toro Rosso is over. Sebastian Vettel will take over from Hungarian GP for the rest of the season, after BMW released him. Timo Glock will take over Vettel’s duties at BMW. What other rumours will prove to be true?

    I’m sorry to see Speed go but he’ll probably be much happier wherever he ends up. And it does give us the chance to find out just how good Vettel is. How silly will Tost and Berger look if Liuzzi beats the pants off him. And there’s no reason why he shouldn’t – Liuzzi was once the blue-eyed hope of F1 too.

    Interesting post about all the changes coming, the “Other Rumours”, I mean. Of all the possibilities, the one I really want to see get a drive is Gary Paffett. I suspect he may be something very special indeed…
