Formula 1 - Provisional 2008 Calendar
The FIA published the provisional race calendar for 2008. It looks like business as usual at the beginning of the season. Opening race in Australia followed by Malaysia, Bahrain and Spain. Then there is new slot for Turkey in May, instead of their usual August date. France still remains on the calendar with Magny Cours set to feature again. The late August date vacated by Turkey went to Valencia for the European GP. US GP is missing. The final fly away part of the season will kick off in Singapore. Last race of 2008 season is planned for November 02 in Brazil.
Updated on September 18, 2008 (Belgian GP switched the date with Italy, and Japanese GP switched the date with China.

Canada has still provisional mark, not sure why but may have something to do with safety upgrades of the track following Robert Kubica’s heavy crash this year. Both Valencia and Singapore still need to get their new circuits approved.
Japanese GP will again be held at Fuji.
