2007 Prediction Game Update

I am moving the prediction game over here from the neighbouring blog. Here is the sum up of the rules.

Simply before each race place your prediction of top drivers in the order from 1st to 8th place + the driver with the fastest lap. Points will awarded as follows:

For drivers:

Point finishers:
- 1 point for each correct name among top 8
- 1 point for each correct name among top 3
- extra point for each correct finishing position
- extra point for correct winner
- 2 points for correct driver with fastest lap

Teams:
- 1 point for each correct team among point finishers.

Predictions must be sent in before start of the race.

Example of points score:

Prediction:
Alonso(McL), Massa(F), Raikkonen(F), Button(H), Fisichella(R), Barrichello(H), Kubica(BMW), Heidfeld(BMW) – fastest lap Alonso

Result:
Alonso(McL), Button(H), Kubica(BMW), Fisichella(R), Hamilton(McL), Kovalainen(R), Sato(SA), Webber(RB) – fastest lap Button

Points:
4 for 4 correct names among top 8
1 for 1 correct name among top 3
1 for 1 correct position
1 for correct winner
4 for 4 correct point scoring teams
0 for fastest lap prediction
Total: 11

There will be a special post before each race and you can simply place your predictions in the comments under the post, just do not forget to mention your player nick name. Results for each round will be posted at the same Comment section. The standings are posted in the left column of the blog. The winner of the season long contest wins a bottle of MUMM champagne.

To add extra motivation to play, and also to motivate new players, there will be extra prize, MUMM bottle again, for the player who wins most of the rounds in the second half of the season. All the races from European GP next week onwards will count. If there will be a tie, the bottle will go to the player who had more 2nd places etc etc. Any dispute, my decision is final
