Formula 1 - Last Week in F1 (March 13, 2007)
It looks like a bit of silence before the big Australian storm
But still here is the round up.
David Richards bought himself Aston Martin but denied any link between this acquisition and his F1 team. Makes sense though as the only way he plans to enter F1 next year is with customer chassis from existing F1 manufacturer. And why would any of the car companies currently involved in F1 want to promote Aston Martin …
Peter Sauber regrets his decision to hire Jacques Villeneuve in 2005 and reveals David Coulthard offered himself after loosing McLaren seat.
Bernie would like to change the point system to give more reward for winning races instead of for finishing consistently second.
Mario Thiessen is happy for Williams.
Renault people think Melbourne win is out of reach.
Button will not miss Michael Schumacher.
Michael in turn could buy a team but the one being talked about is not for sale. This story seems to be just a lot of crap but people have to talk about something when nothing else is happening …
Ralf Schumacher is sure he is one of top three drivers (oh this made me laugh …)
On a more serious note, Bridgestone revealed tyre specs for first five races.
